Summertime!

Collin is 8 &1/2 months old now. He saw the endocrinologist today and he is 11lbs. and 23&1/2 in.! Though still pretty small for his age, he is growing well and seems to be a healthy boy! You can see that he has so much personality, a very happy baby, and spoiled ROTTEN! He is laughing, rolling over, and starting to scoot around on the floor a little bit. He doesn't miss a thing and you can see how badly he wants to get into things already! We just started him on a little cereal, maybe this will help fatten him up!

He has had a great summer so far. He has been to Myrtle Beach, Kentucky, and Florida with us! His brothers love him to death and love to entertain him! We are so blessed to have three healthy, strong boys! They are definately TROUBLE, but trouble that is worth having! The time is going by so fast, and even though he is still a little baby, he thinks he's a big boy!

God has been so good to us this year and I'm looking forward to what is next for all of us! Thanks for your love and prayers! I'll try to be better at posting on this miracle from now on!

5 Months Old!

I know that I have been very slack blogging about this boy since we came home, but I have been a little busy you know! Collin continues to do well, still growing a little slow, but at a steady pace.
He is now 7lbs and 5 months old! He goes for a weight and measurement check next week so will know how long he is and have exact weight after that. He is smiling and cooing and starting to look at his hands and reach for things. They are so cute at this stage, they concentrate really hard on their little fists balled up and then try to control them and hit themselves in the face! Too funny! He is a pretty good baby except betwen the hours of 6-9 pm, when he likes to scream for no reason during this time! So anyone wanting to babysit is welcome to pick him up during these hours! Thanks for all of the continued prayers. Some of you may have seen his picture in the She magazine this month. Here is the pic from that and more recent ones of his cute expressions! Don't you just love the pout!

Finally home!

Collin is finally home! We brought him home Monday and he is doing great. The only problem we're having is that he likes to sleep all day and stay awake from 10pm to 3am! Thanks to all the sweet nurses that spoiled him and played with him most nights! The boys are so excited to have their baby brother home! He has his first check-up on Tuesday so hopefully he has continued to gain weight since returning home. Thank you again for all the prayers. We are so blessed!

It is Saturday night and we are at the hospital rooming in with Collin. If he does well today and tomorrow, we can bring him home on Monday! Pray that he eats well and gains a few ounces so he can be ready to go. He is now 4lb. 4oz. These are some pics from tonight in the room.

Collin is now 4lb. 1oz. and is doing great! You can see his little personality really showing. He is smiling and is also spoiled ROTTEN already! He is a big boy trapped in a little boy's body so he does not like to be in his incubator now, but because of his small size still has to be in it. But he should come out of it soon since he continues to gain weight. He thinks he has to be held and talked to all the time like any other almost 3 month old. He keeps the nurses busy trying to entertain him! He is eating very well, even at night now so it should not be too much longer before he can come home! We are ready for him!

Praise God Collin is now 3lb 10oz! He has just come out of surgery for a hernia repair and everything went great! Pray that he will recover quickly and be able to come back off of the vent soon. Thank you for all the prayers!
