Collin is one week old today! He was taken off of the vent today and is doing very well just on the CPAP. His belly is looking better and he is still on antibiotics so hopefully in a few days he'll finish that and can start on feedings. I finally got to hold him and he did really well getting out of the bed, and fell right asleep as soon as he was put against me! He seemed to love being held and of course Mama loved it too! Hopefully if he continues like he is we'll be able to hold him every day. They say it is good for them to be held and hear Mama's heartbeat so we're thankful that we can finally hold him. You can also see how tiny he is, especially with Jeffery's ring over his arm. We had a very good night so far and hopefully he will be able to hold his own all night off of the vent. We praise God every day for each small little step!

God is truly amazing. Collin is gorgeous! So precious. All of you are in our prayers.
What a mighty God we serve! He is beautiful and to see him laying on your chest and his little eyes open brings tears of joy to my eyes!! I praise God for Collin and his amazing 1st week of life and though he is small he is being lifted up by many!

Hey girl! I love you and we are praying for Collin!!! Timmy and Yvonne brought their baby girl home today so, I guess Collin will have a girlfriend to share the nursery with when he arrives home. Sounds like he is a little trooper. Great news to hear that he is off of the ventilator and only using the CPAP machine. I hope to get to Charleston next week to see you guys...Might be the next week. My work schedule goes crazy starting tomorrow. We will keep praying. Hang in there. I know you are exhausted.
Hi Jeffrey and Dori, It has been great to be able to follow Collin step by step. Who says there is no God. Makes no sense to me. He is so very precious and we all think of you all during the day.
